Zong 4G Hosts an Iftar Party for Children in the Streets

Volunteers from Zong 4G’s flagship CSR program “A New Hope” availed the opportunity of spending an Iftar with the street children of Islamabad this weekend. These poor children inhabit the urban skid rows of the Bari Imam area of Islamabad and earn a living for themselves by picking up garbage, washing cars and selling small merchandise on the roads.
Earlier in 2017, Zong 4G had set up a 4G internet laboratory for such children at their school in an effort to connect them to the virtual world for the very first time. Ever since Zong’s volunteers have been busy in delivering Internet responsiveness sessions to these children in a modernized and more up to date environment.

Realizing the fact that Ramadan is a time of sharing affluence and helping the deserted sections of the society, the volunteers from Zong 4G took iftar parcels for the children and shared the food in a joyful atmosphere.
