Microsoft Releases Windows 10S for Its Surface Laptops
This Tuesday Microsoft Corporation released a windows update, the Windows 10 S, a modernized model of its famous operating system, targeting low-cost laptops for audiences like students. The new feature endeavors to acquire share from Google’s Chrome OS-run computers.
Microsoft has stated that the Surface laptops incorporated with Windows 10 S are priced from $999 and onwards. The surface laptops will be at hand for pre-order from this Tuesday.
The new edition of the operating system makes its presence evident, days after Microsoft accounted a third-quarter proceeds that came in below Wall Street’s approximation, as sales of its Surface tablets and laptops drooped in the face of refurbished competition.
At an education conference in New York, Microsoft officials stated that Windows 10 S is compatible with mobiles and desktops alike, with a simple login application that lets schools generate logs on any devices in a matter of moments.
Microsoft officials added that they have been busy collaborating with companies such as Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, Toshiba, HP, and Samsung to provide a wide range of economical-friendly Windows 10 computers for students which will have costs starting from $189 only.
Microsoft has also initiated a new code-builder addition to its Minecraft education version to assist students in learning coding skills through the trendy game. The new edition of Minecraft will be on hand for the new school year.
