Here’s what the iPhone 8 should do if it wants to beat the new Galaxy S8
Two days ago, the world saw the launch of Galaxy S8 and S8+ and since then the reviews have been pouring in like crazy. There’s also unrest at the rumors side, with the Galaxy Note 8 and a foldable new smartphone expected to be making its release, later this year.
The new Samsung Galaxy S8 has been a major breakthrough and has risen for almost all the smartphones with some really great and innovative features and the world’s looking up to the Apple engineers as they are expected to be manufacturing a befitting reply right now. Let’s take a closer look at how Apple should design its upcoming flagship iPhone 8, if it wants to beat Samsung’s Galaxy S8.
Screen and Display
Samsung terms its ‘infinite display’ as a revolutionary design and it certainly looks like one. Apple is now required to introduce an edge-less phone that has to be one step ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S8. There’s been a rumor going around that iPhone 8 is planning to make a replacement on the standard LCD display with a with a state of the art curved OLED screen fabricated by its old rival, Samsung itself.
Push sensitive home button
Samsung accommodated S8 with a push sensitive home button inside the phone’s screen. Apple shouldn’t have any kind of difficulty to do that it puts a little effort in it as it Apple already has the 3D technology on board and currently functioning on their existing phones.
A feature where Apple could really get the most out of is the position of the fingerprint sensor. Samsung had to get rid of the sensor from the front and relocate it right next to the camera.Samsung had to face some major criticism issues for doing so, the users said the sensor was way too high. This could be a major game-changer scenario if Apple could somehow build an on-screen touch sensor!
Batteries have always been a foremost issue for the iPhone users. With Samsung failing to increase the battery power in its new flagships, Apple could fill in the void by installing a bigger, more powerful battery inside the iPhone 8, and solve a decade -old objection of its users.
