A Trip to Dubai, Day 2 (Part 2) – The Burj Khalifa

Sighting the man-made tallest building was a dream come true, we were extremely excited. Entrance was really smooth; hundreds of people were there already at our selected slot.
Seemed like more people were interested to watch the sunset. So the queue was pushing ahead and we got our turn to enter in a high-speed elevator that takes passengers to 124th floor in less than a minute. Wow, cool, finally we were at the top!
The panoramic views of the city were breathtaking and thrilling. You can see hundred of miles from the observatory deck. A magical view of the dancing fountain is just on the ground. Other skyscraper look like tiny building blocks from the top of Burj Khalifa.
Witnessing a sunset on 555meters above the ground was a lifetime experience. We didn’t forget to capture the moment in our cameras, and took some of the best shots. Darkness started prevailing and look; here we see the glorious city of Dubai, shining in the darkness like a pearl. What a compelling night scene, we loved it!
After spending 2 hours on the deck, we decided to go back and we were taken to the high-speed elevator that transported us to the ground floor. That was an outstanding experience.
On the way back to hotel, we stopped by a Pakistani restaurant and enjoyed the delicious Lahori Karahi cooked with butter & black pepper. We reached hotel at 11PM of night. So it was pretty exhausted day but we are happy that we took well out of it. Next day we had booking for desert safari, our next adventure in Dubai!
