Twitter users will now be able to get an insight with well-known celebrities and watch the exclusive scenes of famous events. “Now you can experience moments with the live broadcasts by users and take a look around with 360 live videos on Periscope – it’s one step closer to reality,” Periscope team told on its official blog post.
The launch has started from today and now the users will be able to join live 360-degree videos on Twitter and Periscope from some outstanding broadcasters – getting exclusive experience of famous events, traveling to vibrant places across the world, and they can even get up close with their favorite celebrities and personalities.
Earlier in 2016, Facebook unveiled its 360-degree video streaming services that require enhanced camera features to capture surroundings. Twitter made it official that the live 360-video streaming broadcasts are currently under test basis with a small group of partners and the social networking site is expected to roll out the feature in broader terms during the upcoming weeks.
“360-degree live video isn’t just about taking you to different places across the world you’ve never been; it’s about connecting you with your famous people and letting you share your views by experiencing something live with them,” Periscope team said.
With these live 360-degree videos, the broadcasters provide the users with the live experience to be with them from the live environment they are sharing for the users.
