Samsung Galaxy S8 to Feature Revamped AI Based Assistant
Samsung’s upcoming smartphone Galaxy S8 is considered to lead the brand legacy and promising not to be at all like the battery exploding Note 7. Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to launch next year, rumored to have a slick design with an enhanced rear and front camera features. It will also have an improved built-in artificial intelligence assistant service.
According to Samsung’s Vice President, Lee Kyeong-tae, this time, one of the leading smartphone maker company, Samsung has tried to push itself beyond its limits for introducing the Artificial Intelligence component within the S8. Recently, Samsung has acquired Viv to revamp AI based assistant to its Galaxy S8. Viv is assumed to be more reliable for the development of voice-guided assistant, in order to respond to the conversations.
Previously, Samsung put forward its aims of acquiring Apple’ Siri Maker Viv into its product range along with home appliances and wearable. Furthermore, the company has elaborated that Viv was developed by keeping both consumers and developers in mind. Viv was considered ideal to acquire and put forward to contribute in Samsung’s wearable stuff and home appliance. The paradigm shift for interacting with the technology has led to the advancement in making of voice control and as well as artificial intelligence interfaces.
With the immense popularity and advancement in technical horizons by major companies in this era, Samsung’s step towards automated AI based assistant is not something one can never expect. Apple Inc. and Google are also working on their AI based services in order to upgrade their current provided services. But Samsung needs to take steps with utmost care as the company has recently faced a huge setback of its battery explosive Note 7 series and the company cannot afford to suffer with another mishap.
The launch of the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 is probably expected in February, 2017.
